WE ARE LIVE ! ONE CONNECTION AT A TIME
Today is a special Friday. We are thrilled to bring AD-IN to life! It feels like yesterday when we started this community a year ago to help tennis players connect on and off the court and make new friendships and share tennis tips. I remember our planned opening celebration picnic next to the courts at Central Park. Everything was set, except one little detail. Endless rain the day before that kept the courts wet and closed. So there we were, standing with enough bagels and mimosas to feed a village, but no players coming off the courts to join us.
Some of you might recall that day - it's when we first met. Despite a total failure on the party side, we realized something profound on that day: community is built one connection at a time.
Today, AD-IN is celebrating its first anniversary and we are a community of around 500 people. Many of you attended our events, played tennis together and became friends. You chat daily in our WhatsApp group.
Today, is a major milestone in our journey as we are bringing the first version of AD-IN to life.
Here's what you can do on AD-IN starting from today:
- Register and chat - Create your profile, log-in, and start chatting with other members. Ask questions, seek players, get advice, make friends. Check our community values.
- Tennis Profile - Complete your profile to help us match you with players and tennis clinics in your area in the near future.
- Get-Togethers - View and RSVP to all our social events, join tennis trips and learn about classes.
- Event Chats - Once you RSVP to an event, you'll be added to an event chat with other participants.
- Set-Up Matches (coming in couple of weeks) - Easily create matches, post them to the community and find players. We all know frustrating logistics around match coordination.
- Find last minute replacements (coming in couple of weeks) - List your match when someone cancels to find a new player quickly.
- Individual Match Chats (coming in couple of weeks) - Automatically join a group chat with your match players. No more endless scrolling through messages.
- Keep track of all your matches in one place (coming in couple of weeks).

We know things are not perfect yet, and there is a long road ahead, but today marks the first step. A huge thank you to everyone who shared their testimonials, offered support, subscribed to our newsletters, joined our events and believed in us.
