3 Mornings of Doubles
A few months ago, as I was attending Tennis Summit I came across Tennis Tribe. Will, the founder of Tennis Tribe, was sharing doubles tips and I noted down a few. I tried them during my next doubles match. Not only they worked impressing both my partner and our opponents, but we also won the match.
Intrigued, I researched Tennis Tribe further and found more valuable content. Then I reached out to Will asking whether he would do something for our community. Coincidentally, Will was planning his trip to NYC for US open and so the idea of a Doubles Camp was born.
It will be 3 mornings dedicated to doubles strategy, drills and personalized advice. We agreed it will be a memorable and valuable experience for a small group of 12 people who will work with two coaches.
Will is highly respected in the tennis community, with impressive credentials. He is very humble about it, but I insisted we share some of his successes:
- He has worked with the best doubles players in the world at all four major grand slams.
- He's been a strategy analyst and doubles scout for the US Olympic team.
- Every month, he helps thousands of players to improve their doubles game.
- His videos have over million views and his webinars are extremely popular.
There is something different about Will's coaching. Maybe it is the precision and extreme analytical approach, maybe it is how he breaks down every formation into digestible steps, or maybe it is his passion and knowledge of the game.
Please note that the camp is for 3.5 and 4.0 level players only.
Thanks to Columbia University Millstein Tennis Center for allowing us to use their facilities. For those participants who'd like to take subway together from 96th Street on the 1 train, we will organize that. We'll also have many bonding activities off the court.
You'll leave the camp as a much better doubles player and with 11 new friends.
